The team at JRB HEALTHCARE with your co operation have worked incredibly hard over the past 18 months to prevent transmission within the surgery both for patients and our staff and their families. This has been both to keep the service running and to prevent patient-to-patient transmission. We have considered carefully the implications of easing the restrictions next week.

As society opens back up we can expect to see:
-numbers of Covid infection and transmission increasing locally
-increasing numbers of patients with viral symptoms being seen in surgery
-increasing numbers of asymptomatic patients
-increasing numbers of staff members having to self-isolate

We will therefore continue to work as we have done recently. Any patients who need to be seen face to face will be booked an appointment where necessary. We are here for our patients and working hard to ensure safety at all times as cases continue to rise. We will continue to review the situation and adapt our systems accordingly.

In the meantime could we ask that when you come into surgery:
  • Please continue to wear a mask and if you genuinely can't wear a face mask please discuss this at the time of booking.
  • We will be asking you to check in with track and trace. The barcodes have been placed on our entrance door. If you can't then we will have to take your details.
  • Please use the hand-gel on entry.
Our staff will continue to lateral flow test, follow social distancing rules and wear PPE for consultations to ensure patient safety.

We thank you for helping us to use these measures to protect each other and our most vulnerable patients.
